I've just read that, what a lovely story for a Monday morning.Granville said:
Was on the BBC lunch time news today. What a lovely loyal dog, and well done to those for adopting him and giving him a home
Loyal? The dog was lost and starving, the guy gave it a meatball. Unsurprisingly the starving dog then followed them! A dog is only 'loyal' to the source of its last free meal. Now I know every dog owner anthropomorphically projects, and thinks their dog loves them, but sorry, they don't, they love food. Mr GrimNasty said:

Have you ever met a dog & it's owner? ali_kat said:

Think your getting cats & dogs mixed up.One of my dogs is highly food motivated, my wife feeds him 99% of the time, yet who will he follow everywhere and choose to spend most of his time with, certainly not the wife.

Think your getting cats & dogs mixed up.Not in my world. I've always had cats, and in my experience, once they've been fed, they couldn't care less if I lived or died. Until they're hungry again.

"if you were miniaturised to 12 inches tall your dog would still love you but your cat would just eat you "
