I foster for a cat rescue in Nottinghamshire, and I also volunteer and run their website and do facebook too, as well as fundraising and collecting food bins etc

my last litter just gone... the Ginger snaps

A lot of rescue places say they can't find homes for black cats. I've never worked out why people prefer different coloured cats.

I've got 6 and even though they take up all my bed space and wake me up early, and leave dead mice everywhere and dirty paw marks, I still love them.

yes every day we get new cats and kittens in and its a running joke to ask "is it black?" as it is more often than not. Put a grey kitten up for adoption its snapped up that day, put a black one up and it can take weeks or months sometimes!

Our black (mostly) was in the home for three months. 2 or 3 years old at the time. They were really getting worried that no one was going to take him on.

Two of ours were black.

If/when we get more it will be a requirement.

Lovely, we got our 2nd Kitten a couple of weeks ago it had to be either ginger or black,suprisingly we got a ginger any kitten up here seems to get snapped up instantly.

it's going ok, just done a raffle and a cake auction for Christmas

It's not much but its better than nothing I guess!

Kittens are never ending with us, the majority of cats we get in are under 1 year old!
