HI all

Some of you have asked how Archie has been getting on after we took him on as a rescue dog in October last year.....he is so good it's unreal.

We've been walking with a group of people in our village who along with their mutts have really helped with his socialization.

Before he came to us we knew he hadn't been allowed off the lead...recently we've been walking further and further with in our wee group - walking through Forests and today to the beach. I was really eager to see his response. He had the time of his life with his new pals and was soon splashing around with them all. It looked gorgeous...but it was still cold. !!

Hope you like the pics.

Our own private beach !

What's this then?

My swimming partner!

Taking a running jump !

My new swimming partner

And too think he looked like this when we got him....miserable and matted.

The wee man has made us smile again after Ozz died.

Have a great weekend all !!

Dogs love beaches. We're miles from the nearest beach but always head for them when on holiday. I even check local beach regulations/access before booking.

Well worth a visit - the one pictured is just a couple of miles from my door.....makes me regret never taking my other dog before he died...but I don't think he'd have liked it anyway.

Will certainly be back.

He looks a wee cracker, there is nothing better than a walk on a beach with your dog. We can't have a dog at the moment but to me it is one route to guaranteed happiness. He looks like a perfect companion
