I have to be honest, she is driving us mad at the mo! There is a lot of biting, but she is a puppy so no suprise there. She has her 12 week jab on the 1st of Feb,so at least we can then get her out for a walk by the river. Eating well, infact she is a hungry hungry hippo! I think she is going to be big tho if her mum and dad are anything to go by! We have have mutts b4 but we forgot what its like with a new puppy/land shark!! smile

They’ve got such sharp baby teeth. I still bear the scars.

It’s all unintentional but they do play rough. You’ll have to get a lid on it soon though - oddly we found that when Lou was that size, if she nipped, we made a yelp or “ow” noise - similar to the noise mum or siblings make if play is getting a bit too rough. She soon learnt that hurting us wasn’t what she wanted.

Those teeth are fkers though. Especially the little serrated three pronged ones at the front.

If she gets too much. Put puppy in it’s crate. Like a time out.

Unfortunately though it’s all part of being a bull terrier of that age. They are funny little things with NO inhibitions or fear of anything.

Yes.

Lou loves an earlobe. She has the ability to roll her tongue up and stuff it so far into my ear that it feels like she’s liking my brain. She zones out when she gets licky- it’s very hard to stop her.

Mixture of dry kibbles, high nutrient wet food - she’s sensitive to grains. Veg, and a bit of raw turkey or beef mince periodically.

They get porky very easily as they get older but her mental lifestyle should keep weight off while she’s a puppy.

Nope. I have to go over and throw it again. They run around aimlessly then come back to me.

I pretty much play fetch with myself.

hehe

On our walk this arvo, we saw a guy throw a snowball through the mesh of the tennis courts for his Working Cocker......Of course, the snowball disintegrated, but I swear that dog would still be there now looking for it....

I keep on looking at EBT pups via Pets4Homes but the going rate seems to be £3,000.

Whilst I'd love one, that's a heck of a chunk of change, have prices gone crazy in the pandemic? A mate has just paid £1800 for a Cavapoo which I thought was a lot but three grand!?

Our much loved family red EBT we bought in 1985 cost £200 I think ... I know there's inflation but crikey!

Lou was just over £1200 seven years ago. There are plenty of bullies that need rescuing but puppy’s rarely come up. Being the breed they are - you need ownership experience to take a damaged one in.
