Is it just me or did anyone else find the usually excellent supervet program was spoilt by the stuck up bint with the dachshund?

No, not just you! Bloody annoying women. Did you see the faces on the receptionists?

"What's that noise?"
"Err, that's his bark"

Seriously? She deserved a slap.

Another here. It's no wonder she's only got the dog in her life.

I was searching for threads so I could bring up this very subject.

Was agonising over the payment for the little doggo - when she was buying it Harris tweed coats (her words, not mine) and indulging in retail therapy whilst mincing around Chelsea drinking lattes every day and 'bringing joy to peoples lives', also sounded like she was picking holes in preparation for a law suit with the bark and lump on back statements!

It may have been unsympathetically edited, but she came across as the worst kind of vapid, empty headed, West London socialite there is.

The golden retriever on the other hand, was awesome. As was that little chap called Stamper.

I am glad I didn't see this. I know several people whose Dachshunds needed surgery for IVDD, several who have had surgery at Fitzpatricks and none of us would think twice about going to the end of the earth to ensure the best outcome for this horrible condition.

Mine had massive surgery on 5 discs last year and is currently on crate rest for a second episode. I would sell everything to ensure he didn't lose his back legs or bowel function. Even if he did I would take him to every therapy needed and make sure he had the best life. This woman sounds typical of the twits who buy Dachshunds and think they are handbag dogs just because they are small and don't realise they have a hound with hunting instincts who need to be dog.

As for the imaginary husband/wedding fund. She needs a slap!

Perhaps the kind thing to do would be to ban all breeds of dogs that have been excessively deformed for the sake of their owners' vanity and consequently suffer discomfort and health problems throughout their lives.

I was searching for tje thread in the TV forum!!

Tbh I dont think it is poot editing, just she us a total . Feel sorry for the dog having her as an owner. Suprised the vet didnt tell her to fk off with bark comments.

It did ruin the programme for me. Still it was lovely to see the golden retriever and stampy get better.

Alternatively the kind thing might be to ban all people who post excessively deformed comments.

Just a thought.

I know just how Dandi's owner felt as I had the same decision to make 4weeks ago. It is so hard to do but you know it is the right thing for your pet. So sadcry

Watched this for the first time tonight, so sad for Dandi's owner (and Dandi) but I was really pleased to see that she had got another puppy to fill the void.
