Tough call for matey this week. All 4 legs buggered or on its way to being buggered frown

Agree - a minimum of 2 ops (front and back). Assume they will go ahead though.

It was heartbreaking to see the Bijon ,but hopefully the treatment continues to work. The 3 legged Newfie was amazing.

When Minnie our cat had her leg and shoulder removed they were worried about her size so the Newfie is doing very well. Same leg as well and the Walking action is similar. Running however you wouldn't know she was three legged.

It's a wonderfully uplifting yet heart breaking programme .
His way with animals and owners is a lesson for all in any vet practice .
The way the police dog was all over him shows that animals know who the goodguys are .The police dog handler was easy on the eyes as well .
I see he is sharing his ground breaking re construction methods with main line surgeons as well.

You might have already seem it. But here's a TED talk with a Dr looking over the fence from the other side.

"What veterinarians know that physicians don't"

It does, and Noel has been talking about this for a long time.

As the TED talk mentions, human doctors do/used to see vets as second class medical professionals even though the training may be more robust so it's been difficult to bring the two braches together. Hopefully things are beginning to change and will continue to do so.

Can't understand why an owner wouldn't make the trip to Surrey for their pet?

If there is some valid reason, I wish they explained on the show.

The First thing my wife said after the Greyhound/lurcher rescuer lady was introduced "also a Vet" was - "Fitz will be dating her before the end of the series"

There were quite a lot of old scenes interwoven into the episode last night.
The black lab and Gump were definitely from an earlier series.

If so then that explains the fact that I noticed old stories smile
