Our collection of 6 cats have generally got on fine, but in the last six months, the 3rd oldest cat (4yrs) has been having a go at the oldest one (9yrs), but not all the time, they'll eat together, occasionally share bedspace, and tolerate each other, but then a full on hissing match can start and the younger one will attack the old cat, who runs for his life.

We've tried Feliway, with no joy. Any suggestions? They got along fine for the previous 3 years.

I have 5, the three oldest are siblings as are the 2 youngest.

I have one of the male youngest attacking a female oldest. She's now got to the point where she hides 24/7 in my room, feeding, sleeping and using her tray in there. It's not right that the youngest will deliberately sleep in the doorway blocking her in, a water-pistol to him makes him run but only for minutes.

Sound similar to what I'm experiencing here http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...
