she was a great cat been my best friend for 8 years, i love cats so there no doubt about getting another

me & the wife have looked on the internet at kittens & the prices people want for a moggy is crazy, we are going to go down the cat protection league route as there's one local to us & if we can give one of there cats a home then some good can come of this

So sorry to hear this. frown she looked lovely and I'm sure she enjoyed her life and lived it to the full!

I know what the pain is like to lose a moggy, we lost a young one a few year ago and 2 days later we had another, completely different to him and it really helped ease the pain. Also it'll make you feel good if you rescue one and help out an organization that does a lot of good.

I am so sorry to read this, I know she was a poorly girl but it seemed so sudden in the endfrown. I have had very little access to the internet all weekend otherwise I would have written something earlier. She was a really pretty girl and all the more difficult as she was relatively young. You did all you could for her and that is what you have to remember.

I am so pleased to see you have space in your hearts to give this homeless little man a new start. Think he is very lucky and will have fallen on his feet once with you. (I know he's had the 'op' but very unusual to need to put a cone on a male cat neuter. Was it a straight forward op (as far as the vets go, not him!?))

Sorry to hear the sad news but congrats on Sammy! Some of us aren't meant to make our own decisions and really need cats.

Our little girl is on day 3 of post-op recovery and already deeply annoyed with the cage we've got to keep her in for 2-3 weeks and limited access to the house for weeks after that.

I am sorry to read you have lost Tigger, his symptoms were so similar to what my dog had earlier this year.
She was unable to jump up to be beside me and was put on medication to which I saw slight improvement as you did. Then
within a few days she went downhill as quickly as Tigger did and off both her back legs. Fortunately your cat was young enough to cope with X-rays. I decided against Xrays because of her age but the vet suspected tumours on her spine as yours discovered from the Xrays.
Hope you have many happy years with Sammy.

It is sad to lose your cat, but great to see you have given a home to three more.

My cat was killed by a car on Wednesday, coming home to an empty house with no cat seemed odd last night. Sitting down on the sofa without the cat jumping on me for a fuss seemed strange.

My wife walked in and found me looking at the Cats Protection League website last night. I felt like a teenager caught looking at porn by his mum as she has said we cannot have another yet as it is too soon!

Your wife is wrong, it is never too soon to rescue another cat (or 2) and give it (them) a home. It's not replacing your cat, its filling the hole your home again.

She won't argue when she comes home to find it (them) winkwinksmile
