Hi All,

I've got a young German Shepherd and have recently got him used to walking around Ashton Court in Bristol. He is a lively dog and if he spots a squirrel (or other worthy distraction, mountain biker etc) and I don't get his attention in time, he's off.

I'd like to look into getting a GPS collar attachment so I can find him if he's bolts. It needs to be waterproof which most are, it needs to be useable with multiple people incase my friend takes him out when I'm away.

I've looked at Pod, Tractive, Kippy, Weenect (weird name) - they all vary in subscription/purchase price, I would rather spend a few quid on a good one than have to buy twice. Charging is another thing that you'd only know about from 1st hand experience.

Has anyone got experience of any of these, or a different brand that I haven't discovered yet? I've tried looking around the web but a lot of discussions are from years ago, and generally there's not a load of info out there.

I'm in the same boat, I've had a recommendation from someone on another forum for the Trax GPS Tracker.

They were suppose to be shipping to the UK by now, I'm tempted to try a cheap ebay jobbie for now while I'm waiting.

There are several old threads on this. We've been very happy with our original Pawtrax and the new versions look good.
