Jet (whippet) sometimes howls in his sleep - it wakes him up and he looks thoroughly confused

Ours has the occasional doggy dream and wakes him self up with a bark. Like yours, ours also looks a bit confused! I wouldn't mind so much, but the most recent occasion was at 2am. Because ours hardly barks, we both legged it down the stairs to find Herbe sat on the floor wagging his tail looking rather pleased with him self.
