It's bigger than it looks in the photo, it had a big external filter underneath as well, maybe an FX5 or something like that.

I have that Juwel Helialux system on my Rio 180 with the day / night controller. Part of me regrets not getting Fluvals offering as the Juwel one only has white and blue LED's, no reds although my plant growth doesn't seem to be suffering (the tank in the pic above is using the Fluval Plant and Fresh LED).

Nice, but pricey! Is ghat what you're going to replace or is that the other tank?

That’s on the planted tank. The one which needed new lighting is the corner unit for the cichlids - I have bought a cheap Chinese LED light bar for that.

The Arcadia unit was indeed expensive, but substantially less than RRP. Impressive bit of kit, though.

Best way to dispose of a load of Platys? They won't stop breeding! Will any of the local places take them?
