Went back to the Shelter yesterday and have reserved a 10 year old female tabby whose owner had passed away. Hoping lightning will strike twice but she was very friendly, coming straight over for some attention as soon as the cage door was opened instead of trying to run round and check every corner of the room.

They did also have a lovely cat there with the quite brilliant name of Steve. Sadly he had a heart condition and I'm not experienced or confident enough to take something like that on
thumbup She sounds fabulous smile

What extra care did Steve need?

They said he needed lifelong medication, which either by tablet or injection I have doing. Could also be a big gets bill at some point. Hopefully someone else fN give him a good home

If he's had it a while, he'll be used to taking them & probably not a problem

A friends diabetic cat waits patiently for her injection before consuming food smile

Did they not offer help with bills? Quite often they do to get the cat into a home

This week I have mostly had sore feet. Which is weird because last weekend is the first in a long time I haven't been out dancing in stupidly high heels. This morning Lebowski bit the bottom of my foot at 5.30am in order to wake me up. This, I conclude, is why I have sore feet!

hehe

My little bds adorable companions have recently decided that 04:30 is a perfectly acceptable time to be fed and the little silver has developed the biggest set of lungs in order to express her pending starvation

To be honest I didn't ask any further, kindof wish I did now. Anyway, just got my new kitty home. Very friendly and loved having her head rubbed, has just settled down on the bed for a snooze.

Thanks, I thought she was a tabby at the shelter but on the documents it says she's a tortie. Didn't notice that one side of her face is darker until I took that photo

The wife got her pussy shaved today for Valentine's day. It wasn't as exciting as I thought it would be. All it did was reveal a nasty gash.

Yes, Sherlock has been in the wars again.

Do they have a reputation? She's already following me around, and only just noticed that she's missing at least one of her front teeth as well

Nope. It's the second time we've found him like this. Last time was worse.
This was him last time (11 months ago)

Do you think you should be keeping Sherlock in now?

He's obviously found his Moriarty and you don't want them to meet again at Reichenbach Falls
