It's Caturday- Post some cats (vol 3)
Discussion
Left to right: Lebowski, Walter and Frida.
I might email this to the shelter where I rescued Lebowski from. Especially since they were utterly determined he was far from friendly (he cuddles up in bed with me at night), he'd kill any and all cats within a mile or so radius (he's so gentle with the kittens and kisses them), he was a hunter and needed to be out most of the time (he runs back in if I take him in the garden), he killed a dog (he loves my dogs and plays with them all the time) and he pisses on beds and soft furnishings (he uses his litter trays without fail). I swear they'd have ended up putting him to sleep if it wasn't for my stubborn determination to persuade them I could home him.
The only truth they told me is that he bites. Yes, at 6am now very gently, like kisses to the back of my neck, when it's time to wake up and be fed.
These three complete me.

Walter's markings on the back are great, like a Corporal's stripes!
I've not noticed that before! From now on he shall be Corporal Walter. Munter said:

I concur. Frida isn't left unsupervised with the boys yet. I'm gradually socialising her until she's a bit bigger.
Lebowski is far more tolerant of Frida than Walter is.
Does anyone else's cat have a time of night where it turns into a gigantic pain in the backside?!
Dexter is getting more chilled out for sure but every night at around 8.30-9.00 it's like a switch flicks and he turns into a stroppy teenager! Clawing at the furniture, chirruping and stuff, quite hard to explain but basically being a bit of a pain!
We tend to go to bed around 9.30-10.00 and my theory is he's basically saying 'F off to bed now I'm ready for food' and deliberately being irritating until we relent and go to bed

Sounds like a normal cat to me .Dexter is getting more chilled out for sure but every night at around 8.30-9.00 it's like a switch flicks and he turns into a stroppy teenager! Clawing at the furniture, chirruping and stuff, quite hard to explain but basically being a bit of a pain!

A big fat mouse.
Everything was tenderised then eaten!
Trusting him in garden without his lead now.
Only when we are in the house though, leave the living room doors open and check every now and then.
He is totally food orientated so a quick rustle of his fav treat bag and he is in like a flash.

Lebowski is the same. But not bothered about being outside. Apart from lying a windowsill hanging his head out when it's hot. He loves food. But isn't greedy and will often leave what he can't eat. I buy them ham as a treat as well as chicken and he absolutely LOVES cheese! Walter and Frida not so. Spider has never been fussy and will eat everything, stealing steak from under a grill and food from babies.
