Murphy is black and white but really pretty. Jess is a tabby.

No idea on the black cat thing either. Perhaps mad cat women won't adopt them in case people think they're witches hehe

... He had been there by far the longest and nobody wanted him. I have no idea why as he was the sweetest and most inoffensive cat on the planet. What is it with people and black and white cats? They always seem to be the ones that are hardest to re-home.
Same here. Cookie - formerly know as Cookie - is clearly an unfriendly and obnoxious bd:

Hi Mick.

Garycat is obviously planning your demise.

He is not entirely unlike The Brain.

"What are we going to do tonight, Brain?"
"The same thing we do every night, Pinky. Try to take over the world!"

Apparently he has a very lucrative side line in hollowed out volcanoes.

A few days late with this one but what more could you ask for ... Guinness, 6 Nations and a cat on your lap. To be repeated this weekend.

No artistic merit at this time of night but I've just found these two asleep under my dressing table. They melt my heart

Love this. Both.

Same tale with my Bengal now known as Lebowski (we don't mention that other name) I actually posted the following on Facebook earlier this evening...

I love this boy. He's just the sweetest, friendliest most loyal pet I've ever had. Amazing after he was given the 'viscous and aggressive nature' label before he was homed here.

Now I'm in bed he's curled up at the backs of my knees. He'll stay there until my alarm goes off when all three jump on me and tell me it's time for breakfast. I hate that they know the sound of the alarm!

Well Charlie has settled in really well. He's very laid back and friendly. He's been in our room for the past 2 nights and snuggles up on the bed with us.

Both the existing cats have met him with varying degrees of success.

Murphy our old cat just stopped and starred at him for about 2 mins before wandering off.

Jess the young tabby has been more aggressive and hissed at him a few times. She's quite unsettled and is going in and out of the house a lot but she's really nice natured so I'm sure all will be fine.

Charlie has been fine though. No hostility to either of them at all.

He isn't shut in our room now so is having an explore round the house.

Great to hear Charlie appears happy and settled! Hopefully the other two are happy also.

Walter is trying to blend. My OCD wants to move him down slightly.

Glad to see that we are not the only ones who buy blankets that the cat blends into (not as impressive as your photo though).

Do they do the same as Cookie: on days when the alarm doesn't go off, he'll quite happily just wait for his breakfast without pestering?

Yes. I'm trying to think of a way around it so I can go back to getting away with hitting the snooze button again! hehe

Hello you lot

Several of you have asked what breed Ferrari is.

He is a purebred Maine Coon. His colour is Called black smoke.

His full name is DK Boromir JR Ferrari Kayal.

He is from a registered Maine Coon breeder In Denmark

He is my fun "little" man, who enjoys sitting at the dinner table, steal our food as well as our things, comb our hair

I don't have pics but wanted to share the misfortune my friend's 2 cats have had since I last went round there.

Her 2 cats ,Chevy and Dodge are getting on a bit but in the last few months, one has gone deaf and the

other has gone blind and my friend found out both occurred at almost the same time.

Made me sad.....frown
