It's Caturday- Post some cats (vol 3)
Discussion
We've had a local stray intruding into Missy's garden recently and she finally decided enough was enough and we had a massive scrap (like the cartoon ball of fur spinning around everywhere but more serious with claws and teeth). Managed to separate them and after she had been in the shower to get rid of the pee they sprayed on each other she spent the day feeling sorry for herself ...
(The cheap blanket was bought to keep her off the mattress, not for her to hide under!)

I'm so sorry for your loss. This has me crying for him and your family.
Thanks for kind words. Me being so far away its been a little easier for me. But he was my favourite as he arrived in our family literally off the street. Just turned up and made himself at home. That was 8 years ago and he has stayed with us ever since. We think he was abandoned and he had no chip at the time. He is now buried in the back garden under the tree he used to climb out of the garden on his daily patrols. The local village Facebook page has 56 condolence comments as he was well known.Joey Ramone said:
He got himself back to where he felt safe, and then let himself go. Speaks volumes mate, he obviously loved you guys

Thanks for comment.
According to the vet Fenton had a smashed back, ruptured spleen, broken hips and other internal stuff. He was found in the garage where during the day we lift the door a foot or so as his and the other cats beds are in there.
He must of dragged himself home.
The thing is word has got around our village Facebook page and a lot of people knew him are placing condolences.

Sunday morning.
Wake up.
Play with owner for a bit.
Continue playing with him despite him giving the distinct impression that he has other, better things to do.
Work out what owner is going to cook for lunch.
On this basis, work out whether to eat the alloted portion of Felix Sensations, or whether to hold out for something better.
Elect to hold out.
Wait for owner to finish cooking roast lamb in gravy.
Eat leftovers.
Take afternoon nap.
It's a tough life...

Elect to hold out.
Wait for owner to finish cooking roast lamb in gravy.
Eat leftovers.
Take afternoon nap.
It's a tough life...

That's YOUR cat, that is. When are you going to admit it and just take him to the vets to get chipped?

You are his human, you are. When are you going to admit it and accept your position as a servant?
