Gretchen, I'm sure you treat all your cats with equal love and attention! It was just that the look on Frida's face was one of a mixture of puzzlement and envy. She is a beautiful moggie and I've been reading your posts about her and the others with fascination. Keep up the good work! smile
Oh I know. I totally agree about her disgruntled look. I was trying to agree with you and say she's a spoilt bh hehe and there's no need for her to be so moody!

I can't stop looking at the cat. What is he and where is he from? He's a handsome beast.

Been done before, but still a good read.

Cats have 5 personality types:

1. Human cat.
2. Hunter cat.
3. Cat's cat.
4. Cantankerous cat.
5. Inquisitive cat.

Quick update time. Cat Behaviorist came around last night. Seems Ishka is basically terrified of Echo so clearly something happened between them. We had some progress last night, and basically our plan is to feed them in the same room when possible and to get them playing in the same room, essentially avoiding eye contact / each other whilst giving them good feelings about being in the same place. She says it's not irrecoverable but will take quite a bit of time and effort.

Unfortunately Echo has sprayed a couple of times now (over the last 4/5 days or so) which is no doubt a sign of frustration, anger or both so we have to double down on her and also get a couple more toys and another cat tree for upstairs as all of our things are focused on downstairs and we need to try to give them a bigger opportunity to be comfortable apart from each other. Also need to try to get Echo outside again so more harness / lead training for her.

Onwards!

My Priya got run over tonight, and she didn't make it.

Very upset.

Her brother, Raj, seems to be okay - he smelled her for a minute or so, and then wandered off.

We're about to move house to a quiter road - she would've loved it.
