It's always too soon, but 18 is not a bad innings. Sympathies.

Who do you guys use for pet insurance - I had our two with John Lewis but they wanted over 50% (£227 to £336) more for the renewal! When I asked they said that the first year was discounted and this was the actual price - bks of course, nowhere is there a discount mentioned - so I'm looking for some where else now.

That doesn't seem that expensive.

My maths is terrible - just below 50%.

The actual figure isn't the real issue - a massive hike is. But if that's the going rate then so be it.

I pay £200 for a twelve year old cat with Tesco. It's a matter of depth of cover though.

Anyone know of a good technique to get cat vomit stains out of the sofa?

Ours honks regularly so we bought the Bissel spot cleaner shown below

This works brilliantly on carpet so expect it would be suitable[url]

Not my photo, or cat, but this was posted on local FB group by a concerned passer-by who witnessed the cat being chased by a dog. Made me smile.

Well my fury white monster has caused some trouble.

MX5 is parked in the garage, with the roof down. its been quite wet and we've had friends around so its not had any use in the last week.

Mogglet loves the MX5, its her favourite thing to climb over and sit on. Spends hours in the garage with it.

Seems she has now figured out how to switch on the hazard lights.

and drain the battery.

damned cats!

A bit of a surprise today - my 2 went in to the veterinary hospital for neutering. The VS called to tell me that Fernando (the ginger) is actually a female. My local vet had assured me at 4 months that (s)he was a boy, but it must be hard to tell sometimes. Anyway, new name required!

When the dogs are let out last thing at night they know it's time for bed and wait for me by the door before following me upstairs. Every night.

hehe

We had similar with our youngest cat, wasn't until she was cleaning herself that a tinkle appeared and she became a he, soon after some balls appeared which sort of confirmed it. He's definitely in touch with his feminine side though....
Luckily we called him Cossie (he's Moonstone grey and was born in a garage) so no name change required.
