Do you think you should be keeping Sherlock in now?
He's obviously found his Moriarty and you don't want them to meet again at Reichenbach Falls

We have a semi-feral tabby as well. And a dog. They wander in and out the whole time. Keeping him in would be difficult. He loves going out (ferocious hunter - brings in rabbit and even a stoat recently).

We kept losing him at night so we now make an effort to keep him in at night. That separates him from the tabby, as he will go for her if he is given the chance. She tends to spend the evenings out and the days sleeping inside. He tends to be the reverse.
However, when he is inside, he just deliberately makes a pain of himself. He yowls, knocks things over (while you're watching, just to make a point), attacks the dog, etc.. Anything to be annoying.

Thanks, I thought she was a tabby at the shelter but on the documents it says she's a tortie. Didn't notice that one side of her face is darker until I took that photo
Oh, she's definitely Tortie, you'll have your hands full!!!
My tortie Maine Coin has the most wonderful, gentle loving nature, the only time I have witnessed stroppiness is occasionally at the vets! And when I'm grooming out a knot (can't blame her for that!)
Tortie's can be spiky that's for sure but not always luckily!! (and the tabby in her will take any edge off if she does have any!)
Sounds like she is settling in brilliantly .
Bugga. Nimbus finally lost her battle.
Turns out she had lymphoma. Lasted 6 weeks after the vet thought she was on her last legs. Hopefully had a good life over these last few weeks, getting lots of sleep and cuddles. Didn't seem too distressed until about 14 hours ago. Here she is as a newbie 6 years ago.
