Can he get to that spot to nibble himself? That's what it looks like
Yes it's just above his front right paw Is this likely a stress thing? He's been very agitated about getting outside the last couple of weeks but it's the first time I've seen it manifest into a physical thing, poor thing just a few more days until he can go outside, lots of fuss and attention until then...

In the garden with Lebowski again today. He's getting used to walking nicely on his harness as long as he isn't spooked.
I wanted to cut the grass but he was being needy and very vocal calling at me to sit with him. Eventually settled when I fetched him a cushion.
Love this dude.
Such a handsome chap! I wanted to cut the grass but he was being needy and very vocal calling at me to sit with him. Eventually settled when I fetched him a cushion.

Sad day yesterday. We lost our boy Merlin. 16 years of utter joy.
Rescued at 8 months old from RSPCA after being kicked and abused and dumped. The most lovely cat imaginable, loved close contact, hug him as much as possible as close as possible and he'd just purr. Curl up in your arm and gaze at you with nothing but love. He came home with a mouse 2 weeks ago! (we think he borrowed it off next doors new kitten..).
Such a huge hole in our life at the moment.
