Istrian short haired hound info

Hi all,

We are potentially looking as fostering with a view to adopt an istrian short haired hound (might be a cross) from a local rescue.

We have been to the current foster house and met the dog and he seems very nice but very timid and nervous of new people. He got better after a few hours so sure he would adjust but concerned he will always be frightened of new people etc

He was very docile and calm in the house but came alive on a walk.

Has anyone got one on here or have any info of ownership etc?
