He came to you to pass in peace and love. I'm sorry for your loss, he really was truly handsome.

Feel bad for doubting him. We thought he was just super not interested...turns out he was critically ill frown

He got cremated today, we're keeping some of his ashes and are going to put them in the urn with our other cat, B, we'll scatter the rest. Amazing how attached you get to them even after such a short time and without really getting to know the real him. Another £90 on top of £250 for all the tests yesterday, but fk it, its only money. We can make more. This photo is going on the photo wall in a nice 5x7 frame:

Handsome man. I am glad I got the camera out to take a photo of him on the few occasions he was mobile.

We knew he liked us though, when he was brought out onto the vets table (and I have to say he didn't look well and couldn't really hold himself up by this point) he saw it was us and he started to purr immediately, only a weak purr, but I guess its all he could muster. I'm glad he did.

Didn't make the decision easier though! Would have quite liked to bring him home for the night but then didn't want him to be in pain all night or worse, passing in the night on his own frown

Oh man, gutted. What a beautiful cat though.

Christ, I just know I'm going to cry like a baby when mine reach the end.

You're awesome. Gave the fella a tiny bit of respite in what sounds a miserable time. Well done.

Such a sad result OP. I've been there many times with dogs and cats and it's never easy. I'm always relieved that the vets make it so painless but you always feel like crap afterwards. I'm sure the cat had some quality time with you. Chin up for that :-)

So sorry. But at least he knew love and kindness.
