Arrived with us last week - settled in really well with 3 kids and two cats.
Nice having some company during the day as he sits under my desk and chews my feet.

He has plenty of growing room or, as my buddy so eloquently stated "Mate - he looks like a ball bag"

We had a Great Dane puppy when I was a youth. She looked hilarious for the first 3 months, like she had a half-size skeleton but full size everything else.

Indijazz - nice lady called Emma in Oxfordshire.

Stanley. I wanted to call him Ascari given his Italian heritage, but I got voted down by the wife and kids as usual

Settled in really well - growing well and is now twice the dog we brought home.
Cat has taken a liking to the dogs bed - Stanley barks at him, cat smacks him in the face. They have mostly attained peaceful co-existence for the time being

He's the one who likes the dog - you should see the bh face the other cat has around the puppy. He actively goes out of his way to find the dog and punch him in the face. He won't be doing that for much longer given that the cat is 16 years old and the puppy is now far bigger.

Indeed he is. I've yet to meet anyone who knows what he is - most folks think he's a Beagle.

I thought he was a Bracco Italiano, not seen one for a while, I worked at a practice and there was a couple that had two. They did show bit didn't breed them. They moved away and not seen any since.

I think Stanley was the only pup from a litter of nine that went to a family as a pet rather than going to someone who was going to show them.
Our breeder was sending one out to Hungary and another to Australia

Stanley had a slight altercation with a car at the weekend. Leg fracture and cuts and bruises but otherwise all good.
Unhappy about wearing the collar though

Oh no! I hope the fracture isn't too bad frown how did he manage to try and win an argument with a car? That collar looks huge on him smile

Saw a cat he wanted to say hello to - just wandered in front of a car out front of the house - fortunately as it was a cul-de-sac car and wasn't travelling fast.

Collar is enormous given he's now a 55lb dog - but when the bandage was taken off he was licking his wounds so they had to go with something that looks like the sort of thing NASA uses to track dead pulsars in deep space.

Oh Stanley, be careful!

Hope you get better soon and can lose the cone of shame wink
