Unfortunately due to one of the inlaws parents ending up in sheltered accomodation their lovely little terrier is now left without a home.
She is a very rare breed, although she has been clipped recently and is on a diet due to being spoilt!! so looks slightly different. She is a Dandie Dinmont Terrier. If anyone in the north east area thinks they can give her a loving home then just message me and I will put you in touch with the inlaws and they can send over some pictures etc.

She has placed the following on a website looking to rehome her...

Hi my name is Lilly and I am a Dandie Dinmont Terrier. (Posh you know!!)
I am a small Scottish breed of dog in the terrier family.

I AM LOOKING FOR A FOREVER HOME!

My current owners are elderly and due to ill health are unable to look after me as well as I deserve.

I am approximatly 8 years old and am a hypoallergenic breed so would suite anyone who suffers from allergies to hair or just doesn't like constantly picking up hair!!!

I am Lively if I have to be! Fun-loving, Companionable, Determined, Affectionate, entertaining, Independent and love to be loved and to give as much love back!!

PLEASE HELP ME TO FIND A LOVELY FAMILY OR COUPLE TO LET ME GROW OLD WITH!

All my love Lilly x x x

I hope that they are able to find a new home (I'm sure they will).

If they wanted a couple of other good options, they could post details here:

http://www.dogpages.org.uk/forums/index.php?showfo...

Or contact the Oldies Club:

http://www.oldies.org.uk/if-you-need-to-rehome-you...

Or breed rescue - this is in the south, but they may be able to help or advise:

Southern Dandie Dinmont Terrier Club Rescue
Mrs G Tinsley, Wellington, Somerset. Tel: 01823 663436

Good luck smile

This is another organisation worth being aware of. Good luck. Met a few Dandie's over the years (though not for a while now) nice breed.
