He's gorgeous, my daughter has a Scottie and he often comes to stay - they are such characters. We brought her up with one as a little girl and she always vowed to have one of her own. Truly special dogs with unique personalities.

Ohh Basil you are gorgeous!Basil
Murphy is our second Scott. We had Jack previously but lost him at a relatively young 8 to liver disease. They are a wonderful breed as you say and a rare sight these days. When murph does get out (which isn’t. A lot at the moment) someone will always comment on how you never see them.
Chalk and cheese personality wise though, Jack was very affectionate and daft as a brush whilst Murphy is very much his own dog and quite serious. We’ve often joked he’s crossed with a cat because he wants to spend all day in the lounge window snoozing.
Ha, we had a Jack Russell called Scamp when I was growing up. An absolute council of a dog, ate anything, chased everything, bolted as soon as the door was open, diving down rabbit holes all the time (we used to have to pull him back out by his back legs some times) but had an absolute ball and lived to be 18. Awesome dog!

My late border collie Sam used to love car washing time, especially when the hose came out. Biting the water jet was his favourite. He's still very much missed, 10 months on.
Time for a Tbilisi street dog update.
And the cutest street dog ever award goes to....
The photo was sent to me by a good friend as she knows I love dogs. I can't go and see the pupper as I'd probably end up adopting it.
This is the entrance to my local supermarket. The new security guards seem a little disinterested in their jobs.
This fine doggo decided to accompany us on a hike, very friendly and calm although I do hope he found his way back to where he lives.
A couple of weeks ago this dog joined us for a big hike and after 6 hours of hiking a random local stopped and asked us what we were doing with the dog. We explained it had simply followed us and the local chap informed us that the dog belonged to a family in the village we departed from and they were frantic because the thought heir dog had been stolen!
On random Fridays we go to the local dog rescue and walk a few dogs. The rescue - Dog Organisation of Georgia - is run by a lovely local lady called Sara who does so much for the dogs.
