We've just had a few big claps of thunder so Gigi is wrapped up in her bed for safety.

Aww Gigi sending big hugs. It’ll be over soon.

Our morning walk was windy but blue sky and sun. Got home and by the time we got to work at 0830 it was black sky and thunder and lightning! Seth just slept under my desk oblivious as usual. It felt like a duvet and movie day today. I envy Gigi.

We’ve done two Bluebell woods today and this evening went in search of something yellow. Not disappointed

He’s a sucker for a fallen tree.

Serviced my Mini at the weekend. Oil change, all filters, new spark plugs and leads etc. ready for MOT next month. It’s running lovely. Except on the way to work this morning there was a terrible squeaking… Seth was on high alert. I’d put the screen wash in the boot on one of his squeaky balls rofl

The latter. He wasn’t really built for swimming and tolerates it at best!

We might have to rename ourselves the staffy family

Since retiring my mum's been volunteering at a local rescue and this chunky girl came in, she's 8 and her original family broke up and she wound up in there.

Funny how another dog was categorically not on the cards, and then another appeared laugh

Shes called Isla, seems to be getting on well enough with Buddy who's getting on a bit now, 13 ish YO. She hasn't been speyed yet and seems to want buddy to show some interest in her but he's old and CBA, quite amusing. Strutting around like a ho and he's like an old man that needs a blue pill. (He's neutered and totally disinterested) biglaugh

In other news Rocky's still doing well, we took him for a long walk and had breakfast on sat where he made lots of hooman friends.

Seth’s Wednesday (sometimes Thursday) girlfriends. We do a weekly walk with these two. Seth adores them both and they him. Just don’t mention his other weekday girlfriends.

One from their reunion last week after Seth’s recuperation.
