From the 'Private Eye", it's not the XL Bully you really have to worry about!

I’m friends with a relative of the deceased. Cried when they told me what happened. I hope he is made an example of and given a ‘worthy’ sentence for what he’s put a family through.

He's now called for a complete destruction of the breed.
Funny timing

A leafy low crime suburb where one of the streets have some council houses......... turns into 'the dog from the council estate'...so is it a leafy low crime suburb with a street of council houses or do you live on the posh end of the council estate?

It is perfectly possible for council houses to be part of a low crime suburb. Council residents are usually nice people like anywhere else. Council housing doesn't automatically mean knuckle dragging residents.

I live in an area with a big mix of council housing, private owned and private rented, crime is very low.

I know but don’t let the truth get in the way of a good story.

I’m from a council estate, proud of it, live in the country now with a tree lined driveway up to the home that I built……..no doubt believed by some funded by a life of crime as nothing good ever comes from a place like that.

True but there are some real villains living in posh houses. They're harder to spot and higher up the crime band.

Just confirmed the two dogs at Jaywick were XL bullies.

I guess that the rapper guy will have the book thrown at him with any luck.

Nope, neuter the dogs, euthanse any that are obviously aggressive/untrustworthy......especially the owners that fit that description.

I had never heard of Jaywick until this news broke, then YouTube served me up a video of it.

Terrible situation. Just a reminder that many of Vick's fighting dogs were rehabilitated, rehomed and lived to a ripe old age. If someone wants to help bring these dogs to Texas, I'll find a good home for them.
