Where I'm from. Not where I'm to (as they say in the west country).

Next weekend. Counting the days.

Thank you!

A week today we will be in the West Mids ready to pick up Teddy in the morning. Photos will obviously be provided!

I believe tomorrow is the big day - good luck everyone! I hope everything goes swimmingly, and to those having to part with Teddy, well, in the absence of being able to keep him, I'm quite certain that you have found absolutely the best outcome for him here.

Hello PH this is Mrs Sock. Mr Sock is driving us back to Devon, so sorry for the delay in updating. We are currently 45 miles away from Bristol.
Thank you all so much for your gifts for Teddy, I really didn't expect the gift registry to blow up like it did. He is absolutely beautiful and we can't wait to get him home. We've got a DNA kit for him so in 2 to 3 weeks we will have his full genetic make up confirmed so will share on here.

Thanks again for all the lovely messages of support.

Have another clap

We are in the process of adopting another similar big fella through a rescue charity.......applied 2 weeks ago, passed ID checks etc 1st day but we are still waiting for home inspection whilst dog is languishing in the kennels. We already have 3 rescue dogs, sheep, horses and many others yet they still want to check the property is suitable / secure apparantly?

ps we did a DNA test on our other big rescue and the results couldn't have been more wrong if they tried......this is because if they don't have a database to compare from so they made a stab at it.........however after making a £250 charity bet with the test company, they finally admitted and refunded the money........this was about 8 yrs ago so databases may be bigger now.
