Unfortunately, one of my cats, Kif, decided to have an argument with a car earlier in the week. £390 later, he's broadly okay. Lost a tooth, scraped jaw, cuts on all four of his legs and a bruised chest. The shaved bits are where the vet wanted to have a look at the wounds. ETA: Oh, and a claw had to be removed.

ETA: Oh, and a claw had to be removed. One of mine got into a fight with another local cat and she got a bite on her side that turned into a abscess. It was the worst smelling thing ever. They can be vicious little creatures to each other.

They can be vicious little creatures to each other. Exactly the same thing happened to ours only recently. Had to have a small op to cut out the infection - fur is still close to the skin around his cheek where it is only just starting to grow back. Now we've just found he's got an overactive thyroid so thats another op in about a months time. Not been his year, poor little mite.

Our had a similar. Rahab was around a year and cage rest for six months. Lost claws and teeth and broken pelvis and on and on with the injury list. He was a goner at one point but pulled through. Happened when he was three. He is twenty now and hobbling around like a good un. Looks like yours will be fine.

He's fine; was sitting on my legs earlier, but has now moved to his bed at the bottom of my bed. He had to have his tail stapled a couple of years ago when he got it stuck in the corner of the cat flap. That's now healed up (although it was a bit odd having the middle portion shaved) - that was another £350...
