She is as mobile as a Bathroom mat unless there is ham or chicken balls on offer.

One of ours is huge, he can stand on the floor and put his front paws flat on the kitchen work top!

The other is much smaller, and looks small compared to our adopted moggy, but she is half kilo heavier. Adult Bengals seem to be solid muscle. The big one is around 6.5kg

our no1 Bengal was massive when we got him at 13 weeks and just kept growing...over 10kg when last at the vets

No2 is about 7.5kg and skin and bones; but still over weight according to the vet

They're both on a diet now

This little kitten was found in a car engine bay by my garage. A customer had brought the car in complaining about a funny noise and the result was.....kitteh.

The car owner was going to dispatch said kitteh but the garage said th3y would try and find a home. It won't come near people and just grabs food from a bowl then bolts into a corner.

Also nameless.

Some 'cultures' have little love for pets here. Dogs are open despised by some and there has been a history of street cats and are treated like vermin.

One of the popular games was to drop a kitten out of a car on the main highway with people taking bets on how it would last.

Remember, this region treats human beings like dog turds when they get the chance - cats? Meh..

Unfortunately you are correct in your thinking. Dubai doesn't appear to be as bad as Libya on the surface. They hated dogs in Libya and would actively try and run them over, cats were tolerated and Tabby cats actually had a nice life.

Dogs are considered unclean in Islam. A Muslim who touches one should wash seven times before they can enter a mosque.

Cats are tolerated as the Prophet Mohammed was a cat lover. The 'M' on all cats' foreheads is supposedly the mark of Mohammed.

I suppose an omniscient being like Allah would know to expect the universality of Latin script when deciding which alphabet to use for leaving graffiti on the heads of his creations wink
