Good idea but the cat is lazy and won't put much effort in - the glis glis live up in the roof. It did occur to me that, as an absent minded old git, I just might forget to stop the motor on my old petrol lawn mower one day and shut the shed with it still running...

and cope with the stink when the bodies end up rotting, not to mention the flies...

Yes, a possible problem, but if they gnaw through the power cables there'll be a worse stink. Bodies mummify after a while anyway and it is at the bottom of the garden.

Recently acquired Maximus Gigantipus, unwanted carpet scrumping adorable Rag Doll.

He had been a stud cat, then a house cat. Within a couple of weeks with us he had mastered the cat flap, become chums with our other boy Merlin, learned to do his business outside and is so loving, collapsing everywhere, as these cats do. (Still scrumps the carpet though so, have now got him a 4'post)

Oh and new mate Merlin

I will have to get some video of Minnie "launching" herself into a play attack on Stanley cat. Being three legged She "wheelies" while getting up speed. It's hilarious!

Yup. Ripping carpet to shreds. Normally 3am to wake me up. Banished him to kitchen with garden access but somehow he still appears back on window sill in bedroom by 5am.

Like having a furry giant baby in the house.

My ire has normally dissipated by the eve when he becomes a cutey all over again. Forgive him anything.

The latest addition to my home - Gilderoy. The older cat is Biscuit who is generally tolerant of Gilderoy's gambolling but every now and then lets the little un know what he thinks.

My cat luckily only does this to the door mat and not other carpets. Not sure why but he hates the coir ones.

He had to have his back shaved yesterday because he had got a bit matted. Although he's a shorthair I think he will need brushing everyday. The problem is he hates it
