Thanks chaps.

Hyperthyroid among other things got to her in the end but we think she was getting on for 13/14. First time I've ever had to make "the call" on a pet that was out right mine and it was bloody awful even though it was the right thing to do.

Bummer.

Came home from work tonight to find one of the neighbour's cats waiting for me *inside* my front door.

It must have been there since lunchtime. I've haven't let either of them in for ages now (a flea problem arose over summer...) so I guess this one saw a chance and went for it. I just never saw it get in.

I don't seem to have any poo or piss anywhere, but it would have been in there for ages...

It just stretched and demanded to be spoken to.

But the mother looks mortified! She's lying there desperately trying to remember what she was doing a few months ago.

I've not posted any of mine for a while.

Here's Isy getting all domesticated

Ryu and Isy together in their new garden stalking the birds in the bush

Ryu as tired as Superman

In his more usual evening place as we temporarily stayed away

Isy in her usual evening sleeping place in our temp home

And just for laughs here's an old one of each of them

The neighbour's cats are so determined to get back inside my house (what's wrong with their own?) that they brought me a frog last night.

Came from home from work and there they both were, sitting by the front door crowded round the frog in front of them. God knows where they brought it from as there's no water anywhere near here.

Their plan didn't work.

You'd be surprised how many frogs live in gardens, there's no water anywhere near us, but we have quite a few frogs that live in our garden. One of them spends most of his time in the greenhouse amongst the tomatoes. Seems to like it.
