Sparky can smell the turkey cooking

Sparky likes turkey

Sparky would normally be asleep in her new nest at the bottom of the wardrobe at this time of day

She's the 15 year old stray that adopted us a year and a half ago. She doesn't seem to realise that she is only a stray, and not entitled to turkey

she will have a side plate full of turkey to herself, but will have to wait until it has been carved

p.s. this is exactly the same as I posted on 25/12/13, except for her age which I have altered accordingly smile

Alfie loved his first Christmas.

The food dispenser that Santa got him went down well.

He spent most of his day like this though.

He was also intrigued by the toy cars we got as table presents!

She is a Selkirk Rex, not a breed you see often. Most laid back cat Ive ever met.

Just learned the hard way that Curtis knows how to climb loft ladders. It was really "fun" trying to single handedly pick him up and carry him back down the precariously balanced steps (and in true cat logic, they want to come back down but will grab on to anything to stop you helping them) grumpy

Our fluffy ginger boy, Loki, loves the attic. Just rattle the loft door and he appears. He climbs the ladder with no problems.
When he's ready to come down I get on the ladder and tap my shoulder and he climbs on. He never grabs at anything, even if the descent is a bit wobbly.
Such a trusting sweetheart!

That cat looks pissed off but thoughtful at the same time. Like it's thinking about how best to extract its revenge.
She is wild, one minute she is licking your hand the next she is clamped around your arm biting hard enough to draw blood.

I hate to admit this but I gave her a back hander earlier this week, (not hard at all)

The other thing about her is that she growls like as damn dog when she is eating and anyone goes anywhere near her, she has done this from day One. apart from that she is always on my knee and waits at the door when she hears my car on the drive so that she is ready to run up my leg and chest to sit on my shoulder.
