Norman, our Christmas cat.

Rescued from a horrible situation where he'd been turfed out to fend for himself in all weathers.

Nova absolutely knackered after a hard session of hunting. She's usually very pleased if she can catch a moth or perhaps a blowfly, but today she surpassed all previous efforts by bringing in a piece of buttered toast from the neighbours...

Our Jake is so funny trying to catch butterflys! He occasionally gets one. Thinking of changing his name to killer!!

Their coat in the wind is so funny. Jake is definitely thinking "we are not amused" currently when he's outside.

I asked our cat Chester to be one of those cats on the internet so I could post it.

So he decided the router was warm enough for his bum and the broadband modem warm enough for the front end.

Not quite what I had in mind.

Luna, our little British Blue Shorthair girl.

We discovered recently that she has Hip Displacia, more common in dogs - her right leg isn't in the hip joint properly but she seems to be managing quite well for the moment and still charges round the house. We just hope it doesn't affect her to badly as she gets older.

My sister sent me this picture of my Dad and our scatty rescue cat Venus.

She has been (& remains) very VERY nervy but over the years seems to be accepting us as a family and place to be. She HATES me and I honestly have no idea why. I have done nothing to her but she will not come in to the room if I'm there. She would rather starve than eat food I have put out for her but recently she actually stayed in the same room as me when I put her dish down so that's progress of sorts...

Anyhoo this picture cracked me up and my Dad thought it was hilarious because he's still managing to hold on to his cuppa tea smilelaugh

We have given one of our two the nickname 'The Fat Controller'. I'll let you all guess which one it is:

Every day I get home the cat manages to get under the covers, dispite it being fully tucked in.

I was quite happily vacuuming the bed with a handheld dyson the other day, removing the buildup of fluff (4 long haired cats, needs to be done a couple of times a week, really), when in the middle of the kind size bed...thunk!

?!!?!?!?!

Pulled back the duvet to reveal a slightly stunned looking cat who'd burrowed in and flattened herself out to such an extent she was invisible.

It's not stopped her from doing it again, but we're extra careful now.

What the heck breed are those fluffalumps? The one on the left looks like a Flying Viking Kitten!

The short haired fluffalump is a Red Point Tabby Exotic Persian and the rotund (blaming the 'Dreamies' advent calender) fluffalump is a Lilac Colourpoint Persian.

So sorry to hear that frown my cat was run over and killed in October, still miss him - odd thing being that twice I have felt a cat jump up on the bed and my other cat is nowhere to be seen, think the little blighter is haunting me!!

Such a great photo, brave little mouse
