Nova absolutely knackered after a hard session of hunting. She's usually very pleased if she can catch a moth or perhaps a blowfly, but today she surpassed all previous efforts by bringing in a piece of buttered toast from the neighbours...
Our Jake is so funny trying to catch butterflys! He occasionally gets one. Thinking of changing his name to killer!!
Their coat in the wind is so funny. Jake is definitely thinking "we are not amused" currently when he's outside.
Luna, our little British Blue Shorthair girl.
We discovered recently that she has Hip Displacia, more common in dogs - her right leg isn't in the hip joint properly but she seems to be managing quite well for the moment and still charges round the house. We just hope it doesn't affect her to badly as she gets older.

My sister sent me this picture of my Dad and our scatty rescue cat Venus.
She has been (& remains) very VERY nervy but over the years seems to be accepting us as a family and place to be. She HATES me and I honestly have no idea why. I have done nothing to her but she will not come in to the room if I'm there. She would rather starve than eat food I have put out for her but recently she actually stayed in the same room as me when I put her dish down so that's progress of sorts...
Anyhoo this picture cracked me up and my Dad thought it was hilarious because he's still managing to hold on to his cuppa tea

Every day I get home the cat manages to get under the covers, dispite it being fully tucked in.

?!!?!?!?!
Pulled back the duvet to reveal a slightly stunned looking cat who'd burrowed in and flattened herself out to such an extent she was invisible.
It's not stopped her from doing it again, but we're extra careful now.

I'm guessing it's the one lying down, but the other one doesn't look like Slimmer of the Year Gassing Station | All Creatures Great & Small | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
