We had Scraggy on tablets for a couple of years after he adopted us.It's all good until they decide they don't want to take it. It was a continuous battle to find new and inventive ways to hide them in food.

Break a bit off the end and slice it open with your fingernail. Put the tablet inside and squash it together.
One of ours was on steroids for four years and never had a problem giving him tablets that way.

I use a pill crusher to crush my cat's pills, and then mix it with cream cheese.
Both of my cats loved that - although if one had cheese, the other had to have it too.
And as Leela ate hers so much quicker than Kif, I had to give Leela twice as much, and put it thinly all over the plate so she wouldn't go and eat Kif's (who would normally be on antibiotics more often than her).

Yes he has been a stray for some time, someone recently took him in and had him neutered and wanted to keep him but sadly their own cat didn't approve so was given to us at the rescue. we think he could be as old as 8-10 years, so all those years who knows what he has been through, but a fair few scraps looking at the tattered ears. such a loving big boy, he wolfs down his food and loves a good fuss, once advertised I know he will be snapped up! What's the story with his ears? Was he a stray for a while?

Nova absolutely knackered after a hard session of hunting. She's usually very pleased if she can catch a moth or perhaps a blowfly, but today she surpassed all previous efforts by bringing in a piece of buttered toast from the neighbours...
She has grown and her hunting skills have improved. This evening she has brought in a green apple with just one bite out of it. Sigh...
