Came home to find the cat food cupboard open and the dreamies attacked!

Mine got into a tub of biscuits once and ate nearly a kilo of biscuits

Is the cat angry because the guy in the black jacket stole his prey and put it on his head?

And here's my two new kittens:

Priya and Bowee:

Sorry they're a bit blurry - will take my DSLR tomorrow (I've been asked to feed their mother while their owners are on holiday - she was being fed when I took the pictures).

They're 1 week old. Priya is the darker one...

... I think smile

ETA: Yes, Priya is the darker one.

We won't be collecting them until mid-July.

bugger sorry to read that P3 frown

looks like we're going to have to return my friend's cat to him frown Lovely thing it is and pretty much perfect for us (in terms of loveing to be held, stroked wanting attention etc), however whenever he sees any of the other 3 he just goes for them - and not just 'a little slap' to establish who's top-cat, it's a proper full on vicious, fur flying assault and being as he's quite a lump (part maine-coon) it's quite a scary thing to see frown

Took Curtis to the vets yesterday and he weighed in at 5.5kg - she said he could do with losing a kilo. Thing is he never eats that much anyway, probably no more than 60g of dry food a day but it' hard to gauge as he very rarely eats it all at once, instead returning to graze throughout the day. He isn't that active and doesn't stay outside for longer than about 20 minutes but I just put that down to the fact he's 15 so won't have much energy now.

He has got somewhat of a flabby belly on him, which the vet thinks would have been caused by him being properly obese some time in the past before I adopted him. So could that mean some cats find it harder to shed the pounds?

gutted - looks like the big maine-coon cross will have to go back to my friend, not only does he look like a bruiser he just will not get on with the other three cats - and by 'not get on with' I mean constantly growls at one (which I can live with) and viciously attacks the other 2 - to the point where there is literally fur flying frown
