We have 2 Siberians too. Hope you've got plenty of time for brushing, combing and bathing smile

Thanks Sibbie owners. Any clue about what else I should expect from the little furry bundle?

Hairballs.

Watch the diet and watch their arses; not uncommon(though not frequent) to find a (usually dry, thank god) lump of poo dangling.

All our kittens had HUGE problems with matting on their necks, armpits and groins, until their adult coats came in - something that could crop up seemingly overnight; give them a good stroking one night and in the morning find a mat the size of your fist...

Usually sortable with a good brush.

Get a furminator, too!

Yup, you can't brush or comb them enough! I normally find fresh knots at bath time, despite daily brushing & combing.

I feel the pain - any attempt to consume crisps, tomato soup, spaghetti, spread cheese, butter and any type of meat result in having to contort the plate at all sorts of angles so that I can at least consume the majority of it. I now drink milk out of a closed beaker after the time he decided to yank the glass over to get at the contents

I went to view a house yesterday, and found this cat and a month old kitten living on the doorstep.

There is 5 of them (plus the kitten) which are all in seemingly different stages of being strays/pets. Some are going, some not is the early indication. Its a really rural area so no big deal, the kitten won't be there and the others will quickly learn its my dogs garden now. Plenty other places for them to go nearby.
