Absolutely stunning
This is Arthur and Misty, can't remember exactly when this was taken, but they turned one in July. Both from the same mother who didn't survive.
Misty is the grey & white short hair, Arthur is the other. Arthur especially likes water and is not averse to having a shower!! Love them to bits and it's been quite a while since we lost our first cat.

The ongoing rehabilitation of our rescue cats continues.
Lacey was more off colour than usual and her fur was becoming a bit matted. Off to the vets and the diagnosis was teeth problems meaning she couldn't groom herself properly. Eight teeth out later and she's much better. It seems to have made Lester feel better as well as he knows his mum isn't as poorly.
They're now getting into everything a bit more.
Lacey has also decided to take on security details.
If I go outside for a cigarette she sits like that on the doormat looking out the conservatory door. I've had to resort to taking a front door key with me in case I can't get back in.
Anyway, Lester feeling more at home sounds like he says hello as he walks past.

Our hugely-loved member of our family passed away last night, Poppet had been with us for 4 years and appears to have suffered an aortic thromboembolyism (blood clot moves from her heart down to the Y-part of the vein that takes the blood supply to her back legs and gets stuck there).
She collapsed a couple of minutes before I arrived home from work (Mrs and daughter were already home) so we rushed her straight to the vet but there was nothing to be done and she was put to sleep. I think she was pretty much gone just as we pulled up outside the vets. She wasn't breathing but her heart was still going (barely).
