Not posted in here for far too long so an update on my 2 feline accomplices.Same breeder different litters and about 15/18 months old now. One is too clever for her own good, and one is a lazy lazy git (you figure out which)
Lila
Teddy
Lila's the clever one? She looks as though she's plotting!Lila
Teddy
And I guess Teddy lives up to his name?

As we are on the subject of siamese:
Emily getting her snuggle on
I love Siamese. If I ever get a cat that is the breed I will go for.Emily getting her snuggle on
We used to have loads of cats. At one time we had TEN! and also used to feed the ones down the local dump.
Oddly my mum was known locally as the cat lady

She is queen of my house! She's 8 years old, had most of her teeth out. She was a breeding queen for a couple of years and got rescued by my sister. We've had her for 6 years and she is still very nervous. We used to have loads of cats. At one time we had TEN! and also used to feed the ones down the local dump.

Hates men generally and will only love you on her terms - she will lay on you provided you dont touch her or make any sudden movements.
You can stroke her only if you are eating a yoghurt that she can finish.
She gets the arse if anything in the house changes and will retaliate by stting in my shoes for a couple of days until she settles.
Oh, and she refuses to use the cat flap.
Never have i owned a cat that is like a grumpy human - she has the ability to convey her feelings by looking at you.
Not as much fun as the others i have but wouldnt change her for the world.

Many, many years ago a school friend of mine had one and I think I was the only person the cat used to sit on.
Got two dogs at the moment and a cat would be umm...a nightmare!
One day....

Thats why I want one as they seem so un cat like.
Siamese are regarded as the most dog-like of cat breeds; they can even be taken for walks on a lead, (though why you'd want to do so I have no idea as it's quite capable of walking on its own)I recall a story of an owner who took his Siamese for walks across fields which contained cows. The cat climbed a convenient tree and attempted to launch itself onto the passing bovines as they passed underneath... whether it caught one is not clear.
I'd like a Siamese too. Sort of the Aston Martin of the cat world
