There are plenty of moggies, who can be just as loving, fun, and cute who desperately need a loving owner...

...sorry I mean a human to own!

Did they really just compare the price of that cat to a "really excellent caravan"?!!!!

Cheers,

We have one of those, lovely personality and does not seem to shed a hair

however she has just had a mad half hour and got her head stuck in the handle of the bin bag waiting to go out, took the whole bag upstairs with her, I feel like a very bad owner now frown

Now thats what i call a big cat eek

I'm thinking about getting a bengal cat and stumbled across the video this morning.

Any opinions?

I would use the search button but its knackered banghead
Get a Bengal, they're exciting. One minute mindless violence, the next cuddling up to you like a puppy. Trully schizophrenic things but good fun, mine even plays fetch

Savannahs and Asheras must be the toughest cats on the block I'd imagine.

I'd imagine Bengals and Maine Coons would also be pretty tough.

Someone I know ended up with a Maine Coon (it was a stray, and after a couple of months of trying to find the owner, they took it in) - it got into a fight with another cat and came off worse (it lost an eye).

Careful, you don't want to let the cat out of the bag.

I may be wrong but I've got a feeling they are not allowed to be pets in this country as they are classed as wild cats due to being first generation crosses with Ocelots. I may have the wrong breed though.

Still it is a magnificent looking cat

ETA they are crossed with Serval's, most websites seem to be American but there was one based in Northampton. Seems like they are still breeding by trial and error though.

Wouldn't be surprised if they've dyed his fur for the novelty factor

I have 2 cats one a long hair, but she loves outside and sticky things so have hell keeping the matting out of her fur, do you find the same with a Maine coon?

My Main Coon almost lost an eye last month, luckily didnt, he's currently in a long protracted war with the neighbours 2 cats.

we had a bengal. Brilliant cat, Though you may find some things surprising, unless ours was just a little maniac!

- They love water
- They will quite happily play fetch with you
- They WILL want to come in the shower/bath with you (see point 1)
- People mistake them (or at least ours) for a "big cat", and call them "dangerous" in the same way people call siberian huskies wolves

Would I have another? yes, any day of the week.
