bit of an odd request here, a page/trader I use has set up a competition to get the chance to have your picture as his banner, now there are some cracking pics on there and I will not divulge which is mine, but some people have got their whole friends and family to bump up false 'likes' (the winner is the one with the most likes.
if you guys wouldn't mind having a look through the pictures and liking which ever pics you think are the best (can like more than one) to try and beat these nob heads then it would be appreciated, I dont really want to create my own false likes as it kind of defeats the point of doing it.
I don't mind losing but I don't like people winning through cheating.
thanks
Jon

Planning a bit of a reorganisation - I had a disaster with the 190 litre planted tank. Adjusted the CO2 without realising the solenoid was closed. Lost all the fish
I'm going to move the cichlids into it from the 260l tank. Well, some of them. They're all yellow labs, and I want some variety again, so I will move as much ocean rock as I can fit in, some new mbuna and some of the labs. Guess I will give the rest away, unless my fish guy wants to do a swap. That Trigon is just too challenging to light well.
I will move all of the CO2 kit to the 260 litre tank and plant it heavily. It's as deep as the Trigon, but better lit. Then I'm going to move all of the praecox rainbows, five bar barbs and glass catfish from the little cube tank into the 260l tank, and add more and similar. I will replant the little cube and maybe put rasboras in it.
Any other interesting south East Asian species for the big planted tank? Gouramis, I suppose, but they're not really grabbing me.

update of mine - half the lights on though
Stunning. Really want to set up a marine tank, but will have to wait a few years before I can afford the cost and time! This is my 350l Tanganyikan tank:
stock:
4x lamprologus brevis shellies
3x julidochromis transcriptus
3x synodontis lucipinnis
9x cyprichromis leptosome "mpulungu"
1x altolamprologus compressiceps
1x bristlenose cat
Got a pair of eheim externals for the filtration, mixture of play sand and coral sand for the substrate. Lighting currently 2x 54w T8 tubes, but am planning on swapping to an LED setup this winter as I find the subtle colours of the tanganyikans look best in dim, directional light- gives a stunning iridescence to their scales.
Max the comp: (he's loads bigger now, best fish ever)

Matt,be interested to hear about your LED plans as its on my to do list.
I have a 600 litr Mbuna tank I want to light with LEDs.
Great Tangs Btw.
thanks, must get round to taking some new pics- means borrowing my dad's macro lens though.I have a 600 litr Mbuna tank I want to light with LEDs.

Not 100% sure on how I'm going to do the LED's- not going to be growing anything so not going down the mega-expensive pendant fixture or tile type. Considered the T8 style LED tubes but wasn't massively impressed when I saw them set up in a LFS- didn't look that much better than a fluorescent tube. I'll probably do some experimenting with 6x 6 watt CREE MR16 bulbs in two sets of 3 so I can have two stages of brightness. The fish always look stunning in sunlight but look a bit grey and washed out under the tank lights so I want point-source light with decent colour rendering.
Here's my through wall tank that I built myself, 950ltr marine system
From the Snug side
From the lounge side
Some of the fish
The engine room, which is about 10m away from the main tank in an outbuilding, and where all the water changes are remotely done from!
Pics when it was being set up, doesn't look like this much now!
