Each to their own of course but personally I would remove the Faux Sunken galleon and blue gravel and give it a more natural look.

It sounds like he's setting up a marine tank, so no bogwood or plants in that. ETA Link still works for me. do and advanced search in Homes, Gardens and DIY and use Aquarium. Upscaling?

Big Al. said: It looks like he's setting up a marine tank, so no bogwood or plants in that. He doesn't mention it being Marine! But yes if it's Marine no Bogwood or Plants. Sand and Living Rock instead. Still ditch the Galleon and Blue Gravel though.

I see where you're all coming from with regards to the blue, but, it does look OK when you see it for yourself..
It will be tropical fish I will add to it as it will be heated (fresh water)..

This is our 48l tank. Plants are different now though. We have 3 Guppies, 2 Kuhuli Loaches, 2 Amano Shrimp, 1 Lamp Eye Tetra and 1 Zebra Snail. The Zebra snail is a recent edition and within 72hrs of being put in the tank he has cleared all the algae off the glass

My water sometimes looks cloudy, but on closer inspection it turn out to be minute air bubbles from the pump.
