Going to Barcelona next weekend the purpose of the trip is to see Noel Gallagher play live but making a weekend of it so can anyone recommend any bars clubs thing to do while we are out there? Be a group of 6 lads so doubt seeing art museums will be on the agenda

Make sure to go visit the Sagrada Familia - it's an utter head fk.

As for bars, ramble down La Ramblas in the evening, you'll not want for places. The only thing I can recommend is that if you want somewhere quiet, go to the London Bar, which is the sanest place we found while we were there.

One hint, make sure to not have anything with you that you would like to have at the end of the night, there are a lot of pickpockets. When I say a lot, I was there with ten people, one guy got done twice, another once, and we had to beat off a couple.

Sexually deviant pickpockets...that Spain is some place!!

A trip round the Nou camp is a bit special if you're a footy fan, and there are some lovely restaurants down at the port.

A trip on the open top bus is well worth it if it's warm, plus you can hop off and back on at all the touristy spots biggrin

The food market on the the Rambala is very good - lots of little stalls where you can sit down and have some freshly cooked fish or whatever takes your fancy.

The Beach is quite good if the wandering around gets too much (nice place for lunch too if the weather is good). Old Town is nice for a look around.

Been loads of times but can't remember much detail after lunch for some reason. Do try the Cava at lunch!

Use the PH search facility. There's loads of stuff about Barcelona and where to go.
