Eurostar- how long in advance do I need to check in

Thinking about getting the Eurostar for skiing this year. Recommendation is to get to St Pancras 1 hour before departure, but how long minimum do I need to allow? Train leaves at 0658 so getting down there will be a pain.

I would say a minimum of 45 mins before departure. You still have passport control and security to get through.
