Flights to Canada

Has anyone got any tips on getting good value flights to Canada?

I need to travel from London to Newfoundland in June 2013. I'm looking at either flying to Halifax then on to Deer lake or direct to St Johns and then an internal to Deer lake.

Probably cheapest to fly via a US East Coast airport, but the transit will not be fun.

With N.American flights, make sure you include a Saturday night to get the best value fares.

Almost certainly the cheapest UK to Canada flights. Not sure about the onward journey from Halifax.
