Yeh, it's the one-way thing that's stopping it. Pretty sure it was the main reason for us not being able to get one.

You can get good one way deals, mustang convertable new York to LA, nearly four weeks under a thousand pounds. Last Christmas tried to leave a car from Texas in California, would of cost a thousand pounds, so drove it back!

I rented this a few years ago, its a shame they are not available anymore as it was good fun. They were all sold to collectors after a year or two

I had one of those in Miami. Did you find it was incredibly irritating the way that when you accelerate slowly from 45-55 (something you do A LOT in the USA) it kicks down about 3 gears, making more noise, no more speed and destroying the mpg?
