US Storm chasing tours

After watching storm chasers on TV I have always fancied it. Has anybody been on one of these travelling from UK? There are tour companies in the US who specialize in it, anybody any experience of cost? best place and time to go? companies to use etc? thanks in advance for any info

This is always something I've wanted to do. TVN Tours are rumoured to be among the best.

I saw the Storm Chasers while passing through Kansas, there was a massive storm brewing, I had no idea where it was, didnt cross my mind it would be a tornado until after the storm chasers flew past in the opposite direction

Been looking into it for next year, costs range from $2500-$3500 for 7-10 days, flights not included.

You're not guaranteed to see a tornado but you'll see supercells etc.

Just do a fly drive and take an ipad for weather updates and you'll see super cells.

Thats my plan, all you need is a decent weather app or use the storm chasers website on a laptop, you'll see just as much.
