hehe

We popped in to one just around the corner from there who said they had over 100 different beers available. Madness!

Garre Bar had beer and plates of cheese and meat. What more does a man need?

Took the family out to Brugge in November, had a great weekend. Stayed here http://www.hoteltuilerieen.com/default.asp?iID=GDJ...

Secure car park, very central. Not the cheapest but hey ho.

Mark...1.5 hours? Did you leave the handbrake on? wink

It may have been a bit quicker, but I wasn't rushing and wasn't in a 'quick' car either. That'll be next time biggrin

I drove to Brugge a few months ago, we stayed at the Grand Hotel Casselbergh which was right in the centre, very easy to find and had a good sized underground car park. No ramps to worry about, just a bit tight (996 turbo) driving into and out of the car lift. I've never driven in a lift before so that was quite cool, not sure I'd like to do it in a big car though, but that's because I park like a girl.

I went a few weeks ago and stayed at the Pand Hotel - central location, easy to find and the parking is individual garages, which were plenty big enough for my 997.

Lovely place.

We went there two weeks ago - parked in the public parking at t'Zand - looked like the one in the photo at the start of the thread.

Great car park, had no issues with leaving the car there and was in the company of a few exotics. 8E for 24 hours. Ramps were no problem for our SLK, would think a TVR would be fine for access.

Stayed at the Prisenhof - very nice small hotel, were upgraded to a deluxe room - parking there was double the public parking rate.

Only drawback to Bruges was putting eight pounds on in four days and triggering a gout attack!

We normally use the Hotel Azalea on Wolfstraat.

It has four individual garages, and a small beer garden overlooking a very quiet canal. Won't suit everybody, but it does for us.

Don't forget to visit the Bar Cambrinus, my favourite Bar in the whole World. Go the the Markt, stand with the big tower behind you, far right hand corner, street alongside the Town Hall, 60 yards on the left hand side after the church.

The Beer Guide is the size of a telephone directory, lots of Belgians eat there.
