Geneva - affordable pint and grub, does it exist?

Off in Wednesday to the show, only having one night there but with a few mates I'm sure a wee drink and a bit of food will be in order.

Any recommendations for some casual dining? Been a few times before but only with the missus so priorities were a bit different. What can I expect to get fleeced per pint?

No idea what it's called, but there is a bar directly opposite the main train station in Geneva that sells a column of beer.
