The exchange rate has crept up from 1.14 to 1.18 over the past week, thanks to Cyprus. Is it now going to go back down again now they're all "saved" or shall I dig in some more.

Ahhh Forex - if only we had crystal balls!

I'd say that the pound is undervalued vs. the Euro, but our economy is so weak investors are till shy. It's made recent gains vs Euro and USD (both of which I follow), but it only takes more 'bad news' from Osbourne /BoE to set it tumbling again frown

In short, there are no answers (that I know of at least).

Unfortunately it has dropped back down. The useless bds in both Cyprus and ECB/IMF have fked this right up. With luck though once the German elections are done with, there will be some renewed German lead confidence whilst the UK is stuck with Gorgeous George and we can get the pound back down again.
