Studying in Germany?
Discussion
Hello everyone, I just registered here to ask a few questions. Hopefully someone who is from Germany or had the chance to study in Germany can answer.
Are the programmes offered in English as well, or only in German? Because my German is not that good.
I've been told that it's far more easier to get into science, engineering, technical fields much easier than social sciences for example. I want to study Psychology.
I'm also interested to know about accommodation since I'm a bit limited in budget as a student.
Am I allowed to work in Germany as a student? I want to support myself financially in case that I won't get a scholarship.
I was also told that having health insurance is mandatory in Germany but I don't know if I should pick the public plan or should I pick some private health insurance plan that are customized for student such as http://www.mawista.com/krankenversicherung-fuer-au... ?
I'd really appreciate if someone could help me out on this.
